Grunts in Halo 2

Ive been thinkin this forum needed this thread. A thread all about the best covenant troops in the world..... grunts..... in this thread u can talk all u want about the grunts in Halo 2 and Halo 1... so go!

i love grunts. Every single time i play halo 2 i leave them alive...they are so cool!

I like them when their curled up into little balls...then i hit them over the head

I thought that the Grunts in Halo 1 were cool. But in Halo 2 they were pushovers, even on Legendary.

Bring back the Halo 1 Grunts!!!

i kinda liked the way the grunts looked in Halo 1 but i think hte ones in Halo 2 aare pretty cool too...... some of them were pushovers ( in Halo 2)...not all of them.... like in The Oracle, or something like that, the spec-ops ones were pretty good... they didnt die.... i saw one major grunt dude get hit by two brute shot grenades and not die.... thats like a miracle lol..... anyways i agree with Donny i always try to keep them alive.....

So what do u guys think about the grunt ranking..... be kinda serious... no zombie grunts....... sry lol....?

Grunts are pretty easy to get a headshot on.

headshots kill anything except eiltes (on higer diffuculties)

i headshoted a hunter but it didnt kill him...................lol

you dont headshot hunters,
you torso shot them

can never happen, an elite is always considered superior to a grunt. Unless a prophet orders the elite to obey...

Well, Yayap in The Flood held that one Elite (Zuka Zammamee I think) to gunpoint and ordered him around, but he also died at the end of the book . He was the coolest Grunt ever...

how do u know he died..... Johnson didnt......the explosion wasnt actually very big.... thats what it said in the book.... like a few kilometers...... so if Yayap got further away then he would've survived...... so......

No, all the atmosphere left Halo once it blew up. It also said
specifically that he died. It said he died happy, though

I guess thats all we can ask for...
