Welcome to the RPG calendar! Seeing a rising interest in RPGs, I assumed we needed one here too.

These threads can befound in numerous Heavens to slow the flow of RPGs, and make sure they're there when noone is making them. If you are going to host an RPG, post it here.

[color=gold]How do I sign up?[/c]

Simple. Fill out this form and you will be on your way.

RPG Name: (The title of your RPG)
Moderator: (Your forum name)
Plot: (The plot for your RPG, this could be your title crawl)
Character/Faction Based: (Just put down character, faction or either if you haven't decided yet. Most RPGs are character based)
Number of people interested: (I'll fill this in as we go along. This field will be deleted when your RPG has reached 5 people, and will be added to the calender)

Please note; you have to do this. Your RPG will not be added if you say 'its called Halo: pRumblems with Grunts lol and its about blah blah blah.' No. YOU do it, not me.

Now remeber; be nice. Don't tell people how awful their idea is, or how much better yours is-just constructive critism only.

1. There is a limit to how many RPGs are happening at once. This number will rise when more people join this forum. Currently, it is 1.

2. 5 people need to be interested in your RPG and you need to be at the top of the calender to start.

3. You may only moderate (Host) one RPG at a time. (not a problem, because only one will be hosted at a time).

4. Follow the CoC

For people who like to break RPG rules, look out. If you are added to the probation list, you may be asked to leave an RPG. Crimes include things like godmodding, flaming, spamming, quitting for no valid reason, etc. Basically anything that harms an RPG. Being counter productive will also land you here. Anyone who has a valid case may use the probation list.

He means role playing games, like someone makes a secnario on a planet in halo (EG) and gives some limitations as to the charecter you can pick, like a marine, pilot ect, then some equipment/vehicles and then the RPG will start at some point, the story is then told by each person involved from their charecters point of veiw as they go through the battle/campaign

And RPG's are used on lots of sites, i personaly wanna join in/host a mecha one but that'd need me to write up quite a bit of pre-story

Well it's gonna be part of the story i posted, following the siege of one of the Europan's forts/cities

And could you pm/post a layout and details i'll need to post for it, it's been quite a while since i've seen one (like the things i'll need to post to let people know what to choose from/post)

Well, you should list factions, allignments, setting, territories(if any), time setting, and...I think thats it.

I could host a short RPG here just to get everyone in the feel of it?

Halo: Harvest RPG

The Covenant have invaded Harvest. Many have died, only a few thousand now live on what once held millions of civilians.

Factions:

Human: You are the few humans to survive the initial strike upon
Harvest. You and a thousand other refugees now live in an
abandoned underground facility. You thought you were safe from
the Covenant. Not for long. Will you wait for them to kill
you, or will you take the fight to them?



Covenant: Bloodlusting bastards. You have landed upon Harvest
with only one purpose: to clear it of all life. After glassing
half of the planet, you decided that you wanted to fight them face to
face. They are a worthy opponent, but you wouldnt admit that to
yourself. Will you fulfill your duty?



Allignments:

Human: Civilian, Military personell, ONI, Lone Survivor.

Covenant: Elites, Grunts, Hunters, Jackals, Prophets.



Territories: Humans may move anywhere upon Harvest except
the Covenant encampment. All allignments must have some
interaction with other Humans, except the lone survivor, who will not
interact with any. In each entry, you may perchance sneak up on a
lone Covenant Patrol, and kill them, but it will not be a devastating
loss.

Covenant may go anywhere except the underground Hangar. The only
time at which they may enter the underground Hangar is after 20
posts(explained later). At this point, not all humans may
be killed. This game is meant to go on for a long time.



This is a very detailed RPG, normally they will only have a setting,
and the RP'ers will make the rest up. I have set many guidelines
only because this story has not been depicted at all.



I need at least 5 people to sign up, because there are like no people on this forum.

You can choose 3 characters: give names, race, allignment, territory, and you should post in another color
